A model miniature of a Texas City district from the sci-fi TV series Space: 1999. Texas City appeared in the Season 2 episode "Journey to Where", when the crew of Moonbase Alpha received a mysterious transmission claiming to be from Earth. The city comprised several domed districts of different heights and sizes.

This miniature comprises one of those domed districts, built at Bray Studios by Terry Reed and Cyril Forster. This style of district was seen at the back right hand side of the city. The buildings are made of resin, attached to an acrylic base with additional resin detailing, and the dome is clear acrylic. Each building has been airbrushed, with additional hand painted detailing. The Texas City district model miniatures also appeared in "Time Bomb", a 1978 episode of Wonder Woman, as some of the unused footage from Space: 1999 was recycled. One of the acrylic pieces on the model's underside is no longer present, and some of the markings on the dome have faded. Dimensions: 62 cm x 62 cm x 31 cm ( 24.5" x 24.5" x 12.25" ).
