A hero combadge as seen worn by Patrick Stewart in the role of "Jean-Luc Picard" during the second season of the the Star Trek television series Picard ( Paramount Plus, 2022 ).

At the close of the Season 2 premiere episode, Picard finds himself transported to an alternate timeline following an encounter with the Borg. "Q" ( John De Lancie ) has gone back in time to 2024 Los Angeles, altering the timeline to create a present in which the United Federation does not exist. In its place is an authoritarian regime known as the Confederation of Earth, of which Picard is the most decorated military commander.

The combadges in this timeline are distinct from the primary timeline combadges in their more aggressive and even shape and the presence of brass-tone bars across the front of the Admiral combadges. This badge features four bars, designating the highest rank. Prop measures 3.25 x 2 inches.
