Original Concept Art ( 2 ) from The Big Circus ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1959 ) by Stan Johnson. Vintage original concept art from The Big Circus by Stan Johnson of a procession of Arabian dignitaries in watercolor and ink under a mylar sheet measuring 7" x 20" glue tipped to 2-ply artist board measuring 16" x 25" with transparent mylar overlay, with "Arabian," "Stan Johnson" and in ink at the lower right. A second artwork depicts a panoply of circus acts, including a horse-drawn carousel, with "Clown Section ," "Stan Johnson" and in ink at the lower right. Johnson worked in watercolor, acrylic, and oil and was later Art Director for Land of the Giants.
