There were a number of these made for the TV series. Constructed of orange cloth with colored design. This piece comes from a collection of sci-fi Hollywood and is guaranteed to be authentic as described. It is a prop and like all props shows some signs of wear from production use and storage, but is in overall fine condition.
Set of 5 original costume insignia emblems from "Land of the Giants". Orange with black, yellow, red and purple designs. Each approx. 2" x 2". In fine condition. These emblems were used on the Spindrift crew uniforms on the TV series. They were removed from the original costumes after the show ended it's run on ABC. Note that several emblems are different in color or shade. These emblems were in storage at Western Costumes in Hollywood for many years, and was obtained by Profiles in History and purchased on December 1, 2003.
This is the largest set of original emblems known on Land of the Giants. The value of these emblems are based on the condition and wear of each emblem. This emblem was also used on "The Time Tunnel" TV series on the episode "One Way to the Moon" on the astronaut's uniform. As well and on Lost in Space in the episode, "Collision of Planets" on the Space Hippies vest.

I thought you might find it interesting to know, if you already didn't, that the Spindrift emblem used on The Land of the Giants was originally used in the Spy Film "Our Man Flint" It was the emblem worn by the evil guys, known as G.A.L.A.X.Y., that were planning on taking over the Earth by controlling the weather.
Here is a photo of James Coburn, as Derek Flint, wearing one of the bad guys uniform. Next to the photo is an original emblem used
in the film and the replica that can be purchased today.
( * ) Many thanks Ed for the update and photos!
