Original Land of the Giants special effects storyboards. (ABC-TV, 1968-70) Archive of six original hand drawn special effects storyboards from the Irwin Allen science-fiction action/adventure series Land of the Giants. The drawings, accomplished in ink, pencil and aquatint, depict various special effects sequences featuring the giant-human perspectives often seen in the series. Each include extensive technical notes, and measure 8 1/2 in. x 11 in. These original drawings would have been mimeographed and distributed to the Land of the Giants special effects crew, cameramen and director. An intriguing, behind the scenes glimpse into the making of this memorable TV series.
