Skipjack Class Submarine Filming Miniature from Voyage to the Bottom of The Sea ( TCF, 1961 ). Vintage original submarine constructed of wood, resin and metal, painted dark gray and weighted with lead ( for achieving neutral buoyancy when filmed underwater ). With conning tower, diving planes and rotating back rudder and propeller. The submarine measures 32" x 6" x 10". Exhibiting age, paint chipping, scuffing, front hatch portion cracked loose, and missing antenna.
