Original Soil sample speargun from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea.
(ABC-TV, 1964-68) The extremely rare laser weapon is constructed
of a long metal tube with an orange grip. A trigger mechanism
activates a series of diamond-shaped metal scoops on the end of
the barrel. Used several times in the series, primarily as a soil
sample collector, but also as a weapon. Items from this 1960's
Irwin Allen series are very difficult to find.
This speargun is one of only two known to exist, and of those two,
this one is in the best condition. Measures 45 in. in length.
Value: $4,000. - $6,000.
