From the very beginning of films movie houses promoted their new and upcoming features through lobby cards and posters. These are quite collectible by fans of all ages. I have seen original "Forbidden Planet" posters go for over $10,000 on eBay auctions.

Buyers beware of replica fakes that are re-produced on the open market. Look for age, wear, color, and smell when investing in these type of items.
