The Six Million Dollar Man is a famous American drama series that was aired on the ABC network between 1974 and 1978. The plot revolves around a former astronaut, Steve Austin ( Lee Majors ), who has bionic implants and works for the Office of Scientific Investigation ( OSI ). The main character of this science fiction series, Steve Austin, after being severely injured in an aircraft crash, is rebuilt by having both legs, his right arm and his left eye replaced with bionic parts that cost six million dollars, transforming him into a Six Million Dollar Man. The bionic attachments provide Steve Austin with exceptional speed, strength and vision. He uses these to combat evil scientists, smugglers, kidnappers and other baddies, while trying to clear his fathers name.
