A stunt phaser pistol prop from the production of the Star Trek television series Picard ( Paramount Plus, 2020-2023 ).

The plastic phaser pistol features a sleek, black and silver-tone design, modeled after the phaser from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier ( Paramount Pictures, 1989 ). At the close of the Season 2 premiere, Picard finds himself transported to an alternate timeline following an encounter with the Borg. "Q" ( John De Lancie ) has gone back in time to 2024 Los Angeles, altering the timeline to create a present in which the United Federation does not exist. In its place is an authoritarian regime known as the Confederation of Earth, of which Picard is the most decorated military commander.

Phasers of this type can be seen throughout sequences taking place in the Confederation of Earth timeline. Prop measures 5 x 10 inches.
