2013-03-09 - SAN JOSE TOY SHOW

Updated: February 07, 2016

The San Jose Toy Show was a two day event on March 9-10 2013. A great attendances with many collectibles on display for any collector. Even I found some stuff worth purchasing, The Invaders, Voyage, Time Tunnel comic books and at a great price. Joe and his wife at the Time Tunnel store did a fantastic job with this event, and even had a replica B-9 Robot at the show. As with Bill Mumy that attended the show last year this was Angela Cartwright's first show in the bay area. Veronica Cartwright was also next to Angela signing her heart out to the many fans that came out to see them. Both were in great spirit and were fantastic chatting with me. Angela told me she is coming out with a new book and will have many surprises and went to the Hollywood Archieves for many new unpublish photos from Lost in Space. Finally!!!!

I met many new faces at this show and a lot of the fans from our website notice me and I was in trouble chatting about the shows, collectibles, trivia, memories, and many thanks for all the hard work. Larry Lee Moniz made it down to the show with some friends and he brought that famous Robot of his, which brings a lot of attention to the fans. There were a few Star Trek fans in great costumes, and even a photo of a Klingon with Angela in front of the Robot. Also Lord Blood-Rah was there a first for me meeting him a big fan of sci-fi and horror film and host "Nerve Wrackin Theatre!"

The next Toy Show will be Saturday August 17, 2013 and Julia Adams (Creature from the Black Lagoon) and John Saxon (Enter the Dragon) will be attending.

(*) Special thanks to friend and fan, "Ericson Yee" for sharing his photos with us!
