Gold Key Comics:

Space Ghost's first comic book appearance was in the one-shot comic Space Ghost #1 ( March 1967 ). The first story was an adaptation of the episode Zorak while the second story was original. It also included a Dino Boy in the Lost Valley comic story "The Raiders of Ra".

Space Ghost made a few appearances in Hanna-Barbera Super TV Heroes which ran for seven issues from 1968 to 1969. The last Space Ghost story "The Mutant Planet" ended on a cliffhanger that was never resolved.

A Space Ghost story "The Mind Invader" was published in Golden Comics Digest #2 ( June 1969 ).

Marvel Comics:

Blip appeared in a illustration for Dynomutt #1 ( November 1977 )

Space Ghost appeared in a article for The Flintstones #6 ( August 1978 )

A Space Ghost comic was published in Hanna-Barbera TV Stars #3 ( December 1978 ). The story was written by Mark Evanier and drawn by Space Ghost creator Alex Toth

Comico a one-shot 43 page comic was published in December 1987.

The plot involved a mysterious villain recruiting Space Ghost's old enemies to defeat him once and for all. It also resolves a plot thread from the episode Attack of the Saucer Crab.

The comic won an Eisner Award for Best Art Team.

There were plans for a sequel comic but it was scrapped. The sequel comic would've start with Jan and Jace getting kidnapped by Sandman and Space Ghost waking up on the planet Anarch. Space Ghost would've stand put on trial with Black Widow as a judge and a jury which comprised of Zorket, The Schemer and Moltar. Sandman was going to be a prosecutor. The Ghost Team would've also teamed up with the Herculoids.

Archie Comics:

The character appeared in the one-shot comic Cartoon Network Presents Space Ghost #1 ( March 1997 ). He also teamed up with Dino Boy in the second story.

It was one of the last Hanna-Barbera comics published by Archie Comics as Time Warner and Turner had already merged a year earlier, and the license to Hanna-Barbera comics would eventually transferred to DC Comics in August 1997.

DC Comics Blip teamed up with other Hanna-Barbera simians and Dial M for Monkey to save Jan and Jace from a Mecha Ape in Cartoon Network Presents #8 ( March 1998 ).

In 2005, Space Ghost starred in a six-issue miniseries. It was a grim and gritty take on the character.

Space Ghost and his sidekicks appeared in Future Quest ( 2016 to 2017 ) and its follow-up series Future Quest Presents ( 2017 to 2018 ). The series was published under the Hanna-Barbera Beyond banner. Space Ghost also appeared in Green Lantern / Space Ghost Special #1 ( 2017 ) in where he teamed up with Green Lantern.

Dynamite Entertainment:

On October 12, 2023, it was announced a new Space Ghost comic was currently in the works from Dynamite Entertainment. The first issue was published in May 2024.

The comic is about Space Ghost protecting Jan and Jace and their pet monkey Blip from anyone who wants get their hands on Blip due to his cybernetic enhancements. The comic also explores Space Ghost's battle against Robo Corp. A trade collection of the first arc was released in November 2024. The comic is accompanied by a podcast Ghost Stories with David Pepose which is about the making of the Dynamite Entertainment comic.

In December 2024, it was announced that Space Ghost would appear in the crossover miniseries Space Quest: Space Ghost & Jonny Quest. The miniseries is a crossover between Space Quest and Jonny Quest. The miniseries ran for 4 issues from May 2025 to August 2025.

In April 2025, it was announced the series was slated relaunched in July 2025 with a new #1 issue. It was pushed to August 2025 due to the delay of Space Ghost Annual which was published in July 2025. The second volume will end in June 2026.
