Updated: March 15, 2026
A life-size static Harvester alien puppet from Roland Emmerich's Independence Day. After a psychic attack from aliens known as Harvesters in Alien 51, President Thomas Whitmore ( Bill Pullman ) learned of their plan to eradicate life on Earth to harvest its resources. He sent the military into nuclear battle with the Harvesters, including one that was buried under debris in the aftermath.
This large, ornately detailed puppet originates from Planet Hollywood. Designed by renowned alien creature effects supervisor Patrick Tatopoulos, it is constructed primarily from translucent silicone molded around an internal metal armature for structure and hand-painted to appear organic. The puppet comes mounted through the bottom to a metal puppeteering rod which is mounted to a wooden base.
Following production, it underwent sympathetic restoration to repair tearing throughout its jointed legs, pincered fingers, and neck. It exhibits patching, exposed foam, scratching, and tearing throughout from production use and age. Dimensions: 24" x 24" x 55" ( 61 cm x 61 cm x 140 cm )
Value: $5,000.
