A very scare and rare tin toy from the "Forbidden Planet" film of the 1950's. This Robby moon car is made of tin and made by the Nomura Company, and imported by the Marx Linemar Company. This is the first time I've seen this rare toy up for bids on eBay in 5 years of collecting. There were repro's made of this toy in the late 1990's which was made bigger, and a Robby the Robot figure added to the toy.

The auction ended on December 9, 2001 and with 40 serious bids sold for a whooping final bid of, $3,250.00!
