The Japanese Toy Companies went crazy in the late 1960's and early 70's producting different tin toys on this classic "Forbidden Planet" character. Clever marketing concepts such as using a different name, minor change of the original design, made it possible for these toys. Not to mention many different color Robots.

Based on the original "Planet Action Robot" these knock-off tin Robots have the same design, and action. The Toy Company yet again, renames this Robby as...."Mechanical Planet Robot"! Which was already used for another Robby replica Robot several years earlier. These are incredible reproductions made of tin, and comes with a metal key to wind-up Robby. Robots includes new box design art to complete any collection. The Robots are available in black or red combinations.
