A built up painted, lighted battery operated Blaster from the Forbidden Planet Movie from the 50's. This is an example bought years ago while attending the Wonder Fest in Japan. It operates on two AA power cells and gets loads of attention since the lighted effect is a photo strobe used in cameras! Very bright! Almost blinding! Has neon indicator light on the rear to signal when its ready to fire. No wimpy Christmas tree bulb in this one. Paint is an autumotive lacquer done in metalic gun grey with Aluminum accents. Handle is two tone flat and gloss black. The nozzle is clear cast with a brass metal section between the tip. Very effective prop most sections are bonded but some come apart for servicing.
