Who knew Robby the Robot put out a Holiday Record Album? No hands raised here!

Better yet, who knew Robby could sing?

This extremely rare item was found in a second hand store and had clearly been used a lot.

The liner notes were just as interesting as the music itself. It seems our mechanical marvel can duplicate any voice pattern and mimic any singing style, so I wasn't surprised to find; Silver Bells - a la Pearl Bailey, Little Drummer Boy - a la Perry Como, along with Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer - a la Gene Autry, and the list goes on.

And then there were references to the 5 Krell studio musicians. [ I thought they had all perished on Altair]

Major John J. Adams was listed as the producer of the album and Altaira Morbius

was given credit for doing a duet with Robby on; It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas.

To be honest, this is just a very strange and curious artifact.

This prompted me to go through the RCA Victor catalog to find more information, but the album was not listed.

Things that make you go Hmmmmmm.

Value: $40.
