"Lost in Space" is a 1960s American science fiction TV series created and produced by Irwin Allen, following the adventures of the Robinson family stranded in space.
Overview:
"Lost in Space" originally aired on CBS from September 15, 1965, to March 6, 1968, spanning three seasons and 84 episodes. The series was inspired by Johann David Wyss's 1812 novel The Swiss Family Robinson and combined adventure, drama, and occasional comedy. The first season was filmed in black and white, with the final episode featuring a few minutes of color, while seasons two and three were entirely in color.
