I'm pleased to announce that my mother has finshed my Professor John Robinson/First Season shirt. We had an extremely hard time making this shirt as there was no existing pattern. Finally, after much searching, we were able to find a v-neck shirt, and then altered the pattern a little for a square neck, and then bought a long sleavede moron sweatere for the undershirt, cut that down so that it was about the size of a dickie, and sewn on that piece under the square neck. Next we added the piping as close as possible that was seen on the original series.... finally, we took the moron cuffs off the sweatshirt and sewed them onto the ends of the blue sleaves and sewd them onto the shirt as well, and viola, instant carnation John Robinson shirt!
