ORIGINAL KEEPER SCRIPTS

Updated: February 18, 2013

Original Lost in Space scripts of the all time favorite episode, "The Keeper". These two scripts belonged to Jerry Briskin, the associate producer.

These scripts are priceless pieces of Hollywood memorabilia. The Keeper Part One & Two Dec 13, 1965.

An Irwin Allen Production in Association with Space Productions and Twentieth Century-Fox Television, Inc.

Includes:

Revised shooting final script (with handwritten note mostly underlining, stage numbers), copy of production report, copies of schedules, copies of memos, handwritten note cards, handwritten budget meeting notes, lots of copies of sketches, Shooting Final dated December 8, 1965 with handwritten notes and underlining, December 3 draft (appears to be a copy of an already edited script with underlining, etc., and Jerry Briskin's original notes), Nov 17 1965 First Draft (appears same as Dec. 3 draft copy of another edited script w/ added original handwritten notes by Briskin.) None of the notes in the drafts are extensive. Lots of underlining, notations, minor corrections.

The Keeper Part Two of Two Parts December 20, 1965

An Irwin Allen Production in Association with Space Productions and Twentieth Century-Fox Television, Inc.

Revised shooting final script (with handwritten notes mostly underlining, stage numbers, some corrections), copy of production report, copies of schedules, copies of memos, copy of shooting schedule, several pages of original sketches, handwritten budget meeting notes, original letter from Wesley Dickinson of Cobraland in Santa Ana which supplied animals for TV shows (letter came with pictures of a Monitor Lizard which someone then sketched), a lot of copies of sketches of the action the show would take (at least 50), December 13 Shooting Final Script, with handwritten notes, lots of underlining, Nov 26 draft with lots of editing (this is an actual original typewritten draft rather than any sort of duplicate).

Scripts are generally in quite good shape with some normal bumping and light soiling to covers. A couple of pages on part two have some staining to bottom edge (looks like coffee), part one has several pages with some staining to bottom edge, one memo looks like it was dropped in coffee. None of the text is affected.

Value: $1,500.
