In 1995 I helped build the exterior of the Jupiter-2 for the TV show Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen . Two of the props I created was the hatch control button which was used as one of the exterior airlock controls and three dummy hookup holes . Both these props are made from styrene. Also shown here are the dummy speaker panel from the front airlock. This prop is made from wood ( Pressboard ). This prop was constructed specifically for FWIA and only meant to be seen from a distance. After the show was shot, the sets went into storage. I retained some of the smaller prop pieces that I had made from scratch.
