JUPITER-2 CHRONOMETER LAUNCH CLOCK (REPLICA)

Updated: March 15, 2005

(Robot) " At exactly launch plus eight hours, Inertial guidance system --destroy. Radio transmitter -- destroy. Cabin pressure control system -- destroy. "

That was a fateful hour on the Robinsons journey signaled by this replica from the Jupiter-2 I just finished. Used in the first episode, The Reluctant Stowaway, it indicated by when it changed to 8 o'clock that the Robot would start destroying the spaceship. It was on both decks of the Jupiter-2, over the inertial guidance ball on the upper deck and on the wall next to the lab on the lower deck, but they both disappeared before the 1st season was over.

I made my replica using a 60's Tymeter Numechron clock and more details are available at
