John Robinson wears his spacesuit exploring a nearby planet after escaping the Resolute colony ship in the Jupiter-2 spacecraft with his family. In "Scarecrow" ( S2, E4 ), he wore his spacesuit to go to a planet with Don and Judy in effort to help colonists find water.
