A blaster pistol prop from the production of the film Lost in Space ( New Line Cinema, 1998 ). The gun prop is made of metal and plastic components and features various red details throughout with light bulbs in the muzzle to simulate laser blasts. Wiring for the light-up components is housed in the grip ( Untested ). This style of blaster pistol can be seen being used by various characters throughout the film, including "Professor John Robinson" ( William Hurt ), "Will Robinson" ( Jack Johnson ), and "Dr. Smith" ( Gary Oldman ). Prop measures 7.5 x 14 x 2 inches.
