JUPITER-2 LAUNCH SITE DIORAMA

Updated: June 04, 2004

Originally, the Jupiter-2 was named the Gemini 12, but the name was changed for the "Lost in Space" TV series. This is one of the nicest kits ever made by Lunar Models. Many hours was spent on this kit, with the cutting on the launch towers & gantrys. Lights were also added to this display piece, as well as a city back drop.

I am trying to get Phil at Lunar to make MP figures to be added to this kit, as well as the "Time Tunnel" kit. This would add that special touch to these diorama's. I received some e-mail photos of another fans different painted version of the Jupiter-2 diorama. Note the different colors on the fushion core lights. Thought this was a cool idea for that special effect look. Sorry I didn't get the name of the person sending me these additional photos of the Jupiter-2? "Thanks for sharing!"

Model Builder: "David Gutierrez"

Value: $600.
