Starting in 1967 and continuing til 1969 Irwin Allen, in an attempt to boost the ratings of his shows on ABC (Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea and Land of the Giants) sent flyers each week with artistic (if somewhat inaccurate) drawings from that week's episode to newspapers and magazines all over the country. Unknown to most people however, he tried the same tactic with the third (and regrettably, last) season of his CBS adventure Lost in Space.

These were not as widely distributed as the ABC shows as none have ever appeared on eBay or in other collections. Reprinted here for the first time are two of these extremely rare fold-out ads for third season adventures of the Space family Robinson courtesy of Irwin Allen's publicity department.
