Oversize Unit Storyboard of Basement Utility Room from The Towering Inferno ( Irwin Allen Productions, 1974 ). Vintage original oversize production blueline unit storyboard of an interior view of the basement's main utility room, the source of the inferno from this classic Irwin Allen cliffhanger. The unit storyboard highlights camera angles and how the special effects were created. Portions are hand-drawn with segment borders in colored ink marker, with production notes, including days of shooting and scene numbers in red ink on the upper mount measuring 27" x 20.5" affixed to 4-ply artist illustration board measuring 40" x 30". Two trimmed portions of the script detailing the scenes are affixed at the lower edge.
