City Beneath the Sea ( Warner Bros. TV, 1971 ) Original Concept Artwork ( 4 ). Vintage original concept art from City Beneath the Sea in oil paint, acrylic, and tempera measuring 37" x 25" indented to 30" x 20" on an archival mat measuring 40" x 30" with transparent mylar overlay and 30" x 40", 30" x 39", and 30" x 38 on 4-ply illustration board. This was the most visually elaborate set design for any Irwin Allen production, and though the TV film was considered a success, there was no production as a series. Actual artwork reproduced on pages 344-346 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Very good / fine, with paper residue on the upper edges from hinge lift to three.

Value: $500. ( Each )
