A stunt Earth Defense Directorate laser rifle from Daniel Haller's Buck Rogers in the 25th Century. In the made for TV movie film that later became the pilot episode "Awakening," members of the Earth Defense Directorate carried futuristic laser rifles while taking Buck Rogers ( Gil Gerard ) into questioning. Rifles of this style later appeared throughout the series, and were also repurposed for the production of Glen A. Larson's Battlestar Galactica.

This stunt laser rifle originates from the collection of master model maker Greg Jein. Constructed from foam, it is hand-painted gunmetal black with chrome-color detailing along the barrel. The finish exhibits flaking throughout from production use and age, and there are two exposed holes in the foam on the weapon's left side. Dimensions: 30.5" x 9.25" x 4" ( 77.5 cm x 23.5 cm x 10.25 cm ).
