Updated: March 28, 2026
A Viper pitch maquette from Bryan Singer's unproduced Battlestar Galactica series. This maquette for a Viper, one of the Colonial fleet's primary fighter ships, was created circa 2001 to pitch the reboot of the classic sci-fi series to producer Tom DeSanto. Ultimately, the series was never made.
This ornately detailed, static resin maquette is hand painted grey with red striping and black and blue detailing on the wings, nose, and thrusters. A miniature pilot with a gold color painted Colonial uniform is mounted to the open cockpit. The maquette comes mounted to a black metal display base. It exhibits cracking and paint spatter on the nose and paint flaking throughout. Dimensions: 8" x 14" x 11" ( 20.5 cm x 35.75 cm x 28 cm ).
Value: $2,500.
