BATMAN MOVIE ORIGINAL PROTOTYPE CHEST EMBLEMS |
Updated: March 28, 2026
A set of three Batman ( Michael Keaton ) chest emblem prototypes from the production of Tim Burton's Batman. Batman's iconic chest emblem was a prominent part of his Batsuit, worn as he fought crime in Gotham City, including throughout the Joker's ( Jack Nicholson ) reign of terror. Multiple prototypes were made before the final design was settled on.
These three resin emblems each feature a raised bat logo featuring the three pronged tail unique specifically to the 1989 Batsuit's emblem. While two of the emblems use the traditional black bat on a yellow backing color scheme, the third emblem flips the colors to have a unique yellow bat on a black backing. One of the emblems has the word "original" lightly hand-written on the back. They each exhibit some scuffing and discoloration to the finish from handling and age. Dimensions: ( Each ) 6" x 4.5" x 0.25" ( 15.25 cm x 11.5 cm x 0.75 cm ).
Value: $4,000. ( Set )
