BATMAN MOVIE ORIGINAL CHEST EMBLEM (MICHAEL KEATON) |
Updated: March 16, 2026
Batman's ( Michael Keaton ) chest emblem from Tim Burton's Batman. Batman's iconic chest emblem was a prominent part of his Batsuit, worn as he fought crime in Gotham City, including throughout the Joker's ( Jack Nicholson ) reign of terror.
The 1989 Batman chest emblem was uniquely modified to feature a three pronged, footed tail to avoid potential trademark or copyright conflicts with the standard single pronged tail logo at the time of filming. While marketing materials used the classic logo, the Batsuit's chest emblem was altered to be more distinct, and the rights were later secured for the sequels.
This rubber emblem features a raised black bat logo against a yellow backing with a raised black edge. It exhibits some wear from use and age, including scuffing, bubbling in the yellow paint, and paint loss on the rear. Dimensions: 4.5" x 6" x 0.25" ( 11 cm x 15 cm x 0.5 cm ).
Value: $4,000.
