Christian Bale "Batman" Production Made "Demon Cowl" from Batman Begins ( Warner, 2005 ). Original production made prototype Batman ( Bale ) cowl constructed of black latex with white mesh backing and filled with rigid spray foam. This is a preliminary design for the scene where "The Scarecrow" ( Cillian Murphy ) is dealt with a dose of his own fear toxin and is instantly fearful of the Batman in a demonic illusion. This was Christopher Nolan's first entry to the highly received Dark Knight trilogy. "The Caped Crusader" has been a DC Comics favorite since its debut in May 1939 in Detective Comics. The cowl measures 18" x 9.5" x 11". Exhibiting age, handling and production use.
