Batmobile concept artwork hand-drawn by renowned draftsman and conceptual artist Julian Caldow for Tim Burton's Batman. Bruce Wayne, aka Batman ( Michael Keaton ), drove his Batmobile through Gotham City while he attempted to stop Jack Napier aka Joker's ( Jack Nicholson ) crime spree.

Writer Bill Finger introduced the Batmobile in Detective Comics issue No. 27. It has become inseparable from Batman lore in the cultural imagination, appearing in virtually every extension of the venerable franchise as Wayne's signature vehicle.

This matte-backed artwork depicting the beloved automobile from the front is rendered and signed in mixed media, including crayon and ink. Mounted behind glass in a custom frame, it exhibits stray markings. Dimensions: 18.5" x 13.75" x 1" ( 47 cm x 34.75 cm x 2.5 cm ).
