Adam West's personal Batman tunic, tights, and briefs
from Batman. (ABC-TV, 1966-68) This signature costume consists
of a grey tunic with custom velvet collar (as requested by
Adam West to make it more comfortable). The tunic has two
shoulder snaps and two back snaps fit the cape and cowl. A
front yellow field on the center of the chest allows for
proper placement of the Bat logo (not present). Right sleeve
exhibits some stains and a small hole from production use,
most likely incurred while fighting various Bat-villains!
The tunic is accompanied with a pair of matching grey tights,
and a pair of blue silk satin briefs with a wide elastic
waistband. The front portion of the waistband shows evidence
of a Velcro patch which was formerly sewn in to the front, by
which the Bat utility belt was held in place. An instantly
recognizable costume, the ensemble comes direct from Adam
West's personal collection, and is accompanied with a signed
letter of authenticity.
